Riccione runs along the Adriatic south of Rimini. The railway cuts its inland streets off from most of the beach districts. Choose your address by what you’ll do most: catch trains, lie on the sand or go out in Marano.
Viale Ceccarini is the main shopping walk between the station side and Piazzale Roma on the seafront. Viale Dante branches toward Alba. Book near these streets if you want restaurants and the station without a long transfer.
Marano, at the northern end, is known for its beach clubs. Alba sits between Marano and the centre. To the south, Abissinia and Terme are slower, with tree-lined streets and the spa. Before choosing a seafront room, check its beach access and what a parasol costs.
The railway station is central, while Metromare follows a separate route toward Rimini with stops including Ceccarini, Dante, Alba and Marano. Aquafan and Oltremare are inland near Colle dei Pini, so you will need transport from a beach hotel.
Summer is the busy beach season. For quieter walks on Ceccarini and the promenade, come early or late in the season, and check which beach facilities and services are open.
