Sitges is on the Garraf coast southwest of Barcelona. Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla rises above the old town and its central beaches. Hotels range from lanes near the station to the quieter coast toward Terramar.
The old town lies between the rail station and the sea. Carrer de les Parellades leads toward the church, Cau Ferrat and Museu de Maricel. Restaurants are close, though streets around the nightlife can stay loud after dark.
Passeig de la Ribera follows the central beaches. Platja de la Fragata is below the church, and the Ribera and Bassa Rodona beaches continue west. The seafront is handy for a swim, but its busiest stretch is loud in summer.
East of the church, Sant Sebastià and Balmins sit away from the central promenade. Aiguadolç is farther east beside the marina. Westward, Vinyet and Terramar have residential streets and are farther from the station on foot.
Sitges has an active LGBTQ+ nightlife scene. Carnival fills the streets in late winter, while the fantasy film festival takes place in October. Catalan and Spanish are used locally.

Choose the lanes between Plaça Eduard Maristany and the church for rail access, Cau Ferrat and evening restaurants. Rooms near late-night streets may be noisy.

Head west along the promenade for the Vinyet and Terramar beaches and residential blocks. The old town and station are farther away on foot.

May and June bring beach weather before the hottest stretch. Highs reach about 81°F in July and August, and the central promenade is at its busiest. September is still warm. Keep a museum day in reserve for autumn rain.
